At work…

Originally from Atlanta and now a cold weather convert, I am currently in Chicago as a Lead Product Designer at The Mom Project, a series C funded startup. The Mom Project’s mission is to bring more economic opportunity to moms in the workforce and connect them with jobs at companies who value their unique strengths. I specifically work on our SelfMade product, which is a freelancer marketplace and toolset helping mom to redefine what work looks like for her. 

As a seasoned product designer with 8+ years of experience, I have worked on a variety of products and digital experiences for early-stage startups, enterprise, B2B companies, and agency.

I find a lot of joy working on a mission-driven product with a lot of heart. As a self starter, I really enjoy getting my hands dirty in the 0 to 1 product design phase and uncovering where real opportunity and value lies for users. There’s nothing quite like breathing life into the product from the beginning stages. I also love learning from my users, behavioral insights and data to inform my design process. 

Outside of work…

When I’m not working, I can be found searching for the best sour beer at a local brewery, surrounded by yarn knitting up a cozy new sweater, creating the best charcuterie board in town (IMO), or relaxing with my couch potato dog and sweet husband. 

And because I’m sure the question has crossed your mind, yes my last name really is Cinnamon.
